Karl Pilkington (born 23 September 1972)[1 ] is an English television presenter, journalist, comedian, radio producer, writer and voice actor. Pilkington has gained prominence as the producer of the XFM radio program of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.[2 ] He worked on The Ricky Gervais Show, hosted the An Idiot Abroad Sky travel comedy series,Pilkington is co-founder of RiSK Productions, a television production company, along with Gervais and Merchant.[4][5 ] Pilkington has appeared in the Sky 1 series of travel documentary comedies The Moaning of Life (2013–2015).
