She has released her debut single "Whine Up" in 2007, after signing with Epic Records. The song went on to become a commercial hit, reaching the Top 40 in many countries and topping the playing list of the Billboard Hot Dance Club. Her debut studio album, 9 Lives (2007), has struggled to see its lead single's success. The third song from the record, "Run the Stage," was a success in various territories, and reached number two on the play list of the Hot Dance Club.
