Katy Mixon was one of seven children born and raised in Pensacola, FL. She graduated from Drama school at Carnegie Mellon. Her first acting job came in 2001, as "Calpurnia" in the performance of William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" at Utah Shakespearean Festival.In 2003, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, and two years later performed at the Los Angeles Edgefest in the premiere of an immersive theater play, "American Normal." She performed at Cabaret Upright. Her first appearance in a major movie was in the film, The Quiet (2005), where she played "Michelle Fell
