Kellie Pickler was born in Albemarle, North Carolina, Cynthia Morton and Clyde "Bo" Raymond Pickler, Jr. When Kellie was 2 Cynthia left but was then given two years of custody. At the age of 12, Kellie's grandparents are back. Her father has been in and out of prison during her childhood, and her grandparents, who have tremendous roles throughout her life, raised her in Albemarle, North Carolina. She's been called Courtney half-sister and Eric and Michael half-brothers two; she's never met with Them. Since her grandmother died of lung cancer in 2002, Kellie and Eric continue to live with their parents. She graduated from North Stanly High School in New London, North Carolina.
