Kellita Smith was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 15, 1969 as Kellita A. Smith. She is an actress with appearances on House Party 3 (1994), The Bernie Mac Show (2001-2006), Brother, Sister (1994-1999), Moesha (1996-2001), In Living Color (1990-1994), Living Single (1993-1998), and The First Family (2012). She was a supermodel in her early years, before she decided to become an actress. Smith worked as a role model in the early years. Smith began her acting career on stage in a Tell It Like It Tiz regional production. Other theater roles include No Place's Los Angeles plays to be someone at the K.C. Theater Company, Feelings (The Hudson Theatre), for which she received a NAACP Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1996, The Thirteenth Thorn (Complex Theatre), for which she was nominated for a NAACP Theater Award for Best Actress, and One Woman Two Lives, which premiered in July 2009 at The Imagined Life Theater.
