Kenneth Joseph Howard Jr. (28 March 1944–23 March 2016) was an US actor, best known for his roles in 1776 in Thomas Jefferson and in the television series The White Shadow (1978–81) as basketball coach and former Chicago Bulls player Ken Reeves. Howard received the Tony award in 1970 for his work in child's play for best featured actors and was then awarded with the Primetime Emmy Award
