Kenny Everett was born as Maurice James Christopher Cole on 25 December 1944 in Seaforth, Liverpool, England. He was a novelist and director at the House of Horror, known for Bloodbath (1984), Dateline Diamonds (1965), and The Tommy Cooper Hour (1973). He was getting Lee Middleton married. He died in London, England on 4 April 1995. His vast archive of on-air recordings of his work (more than 200 hours) was donated to the National Sound Archive after his death. Was initially a disk jockey for Radio London, a British off-shore (pirate) radio station, then left briefly to work for Radio Luxembourg, returning after RL sacked him for saying he smoked pot.
