Keshia Chanté (born 16 June 1988) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actress, celebrity in film, dancer, and philanthropist. As a girl, Chanté recorded her first songs, and has recorded four albums since. In 2013, she debuted as co-host of BET's 106 & Park to international renown. Chanté is a 7-time nominee and Juno Award recipient, and has won five Canadian Urban Music Awards and two Canadian Radio Music Awards. Chanté was awarded a star for her contributions in Canadian Music & Cinema at the Brampton Arts Walk of Fame. In both Canada and Japan, Chanté had several number one songs on radio, as well as eight Top Ten hits on pop music charts.
