Khalid Donnel Robinson (born 11 February 1998) is an American songwriter and musician. He's partnered up with Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records. His debut single, "Place," was placed on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in July 2016 and peaked at number 16, and was later certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He has since earned multiple top 10 albums, a top five charting Single, an album number one and six Grammy nominations.In high school, Khalid started composing and making music; he uploaded his early works on SoundCloud. He landed number two in the Billboard Facebook New Artists list in July 2016. His song "Place" started charting, which led to Billboard, Yahoo, BuzzFeed, and Rolling Stone being included in other publications.
