Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi (born January 30, 1984) is an American rapper, musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and actress from Cleveland, Ohio, best known by his stage name Kid Cudi. Cudi's first full-length album, a mixtape called A Kid Named Cudi (2008), attracted the attention of American rapper-producer Kanye West, who signed Cudi to his label GOOD Music in late 2008.His debut single "Day 'n' Nite" hit the top 5 of Billboard charts in 2008. Cudi's debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day (2009) was later certified by Music Industry Association of America (RIAA) as twice platinum. In 2010, Man on the Moon II: Mr. Rager's Story was released, followed by "Erase Me" and "Mr. Rager."
