She starred in a bit of a role in her first movie in 1937, then did leads in several westerns of George O'Brien. Signing a contract with MGM, she was famous portraying Nurse Lamont's role in the "Dr. Kildare" show of that network. An beautiful, entertaining actress, she had leads for different studios in many medium-budget films, but never attained any big stardom.
