Lashana Lynch is a British actress (born 27 November 1987). She plays Rosaline's leading role in Always Star-Crossed, an ABC period drama series. Lynch is a graduate of ArtsEd drama school's BA Acting course in London. She made her film debut in Fast Kids, a 2011 drama film. She co-starred later on in the BBC TV series The 7.39.She has since appeared on tv in Silent Witness, Death in Paradise, and in 2015 she was regular cast member in the short-lived BBC sitcom Crims. In 2016, Lynch was cast in the American Period Drama Show Still Star-Crossed created by Shonda Rhimes as the main character, Rosaline.
