Popular for her leading role as Angela Valdes on the Starz TV series, Power Loren states in an interview that it took her years to score her first audition, and that her early roles were in The Shield, Gang Loren attended Walla Walla Walla, Whitman University, Oregon, where she was a biology student. She "begrudgingly fell in love" with performing "to get things out of the way" after enrolling in a fine arts school, only to find herself transferred to an acting class at the entry level when the class was complete.
