How tall was Leonard Cohen?
Leonard Norman Cohen CC GOQ was a Canadian musician, songwriter, poet, and novelist (September 21, 1934 – November 7, 2016). His music tackled philosophy, nationalism, loneliness, poverty, addiction, mortality, death and intimate relations. Cohen was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.He has been invested as an Order of Canada Companion, the highest civilian distinction of the country. Cohen was awarded one of the Prince of Asturias Prizes for writing in 2011 and the Glenn Gould Prize eighth. In the 1950s and early 1960s Cohen sought a life as a poet and novelist; he did not begin a music career until 1967, when he was 33. Three more folk music songs followed his first album, Songs of Leonard Cohen (1967): Songs from a House (1969), Songs of Love and Hate (1971) and Fresh Skin for the Same Ceremony (1974).
