Lisa Darr was born on 21 April 1963 in Chicago, Illinois. She long decided to be an actor and went to Stanford University, graduating with a Bachelor of Biology degree. She went to UCLA from there and earned a Master's degree in Acting. Her first big break was in Ellen (1994) when she won the role of Laurie Manning. Darr has recently starred in Gods and Monsters, the Academy Award nominated feature.
