Liza Minnelli was born on 12 March 1946, Judy Garland's daughter and Vincente Minnelli, film director. She was practically raised in MGM studios while her parents worked there for long hours, and made her film debut in In the Good Old Summertime (1949) at the age of fourteen months.Her parents divorced in 1951, and her mother married Sidney Luft in 1952, with the resulting birth of sister Lorna Luft and brother Joey Luft. Her boss, Vincente Minnelli, later married her half-sister Christiane Nina "Tina Nina" Minnelli's mother Georgette Magnani.
