Lori Loughlin is an American actress born in Queens, New York, USA on 28 July 1964. She was a junior lifeguard before she became an actor. Lori began her career as a print model when she was 12. She appeared in tv ads during her early teen years, and was also featured in nationwide newspaper advertising. Loughlin was cast at the age of 15 in the ABC soap opera, The Edge of Night (1956), playing the role of Jody Travis, an ambitious actress, who starred in the show from June 1980 to 1983.
