Lukas Forchhammer (born 18 September 1988) is a musician, songwriter and former actor from Denmark. He is Danish band lead guitarist Lukas Graham. As a teenager, Forchhammer appeared in the Krummerne series of Danish family films. Forchhammer grew up in an anarchist group called Freetown Christiania, in the heart of Copenhagen. He entered the Copenhagen Boys Choir at age 8 and not only developed an enthusiasm for classical music but also a skilled voice. He was inspired by the Irish heritage of his family, the folk music of the country as well as hip-hop-" Dr. Dre's 2001 changed my life, "he said. He responded to the rap songs when he grew up in his neighborhood surrounded by a lot of violence and narcotics.
