Ashley Luke Barnes (brought into the world 30 October 1989) is an English expert footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Burnley. Barnes recently played for Paulton Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Oxford United, Salisbury City, Eastbourne Borough, Torquay United and Brighton and Hove Albion. He was topped by Austria at youth universal level, showing up for their under-20 group in 2008, yet his application for Austrian citizenship was dismissed in 2019.
