Shane Bunting (born 21 October 1975) is a Canadian musician, best known by his stage name Madchild. He is a member of the hip hop collective Swollen Members based in Vancouver. He released a debut EP called The Madchild EP in 2009. In 2012, he released his first album, called Dope Sick followed by Lawn Mower Man in 2013 and Silver Tongue Devil in 2015.He returned to his roots in August 2011, engaging in a rap fight for King of the Dot, an arena league located in Ontario, Canada. He went up against Dan Dirtbag and won with a 3-2 decision.
