Marc David Maron is an American stand-up comic, podcaster, journalist and producer, born on September 27, 1963. Maron was a frequent guest on the Late Show with David Letterman in the 1990s and 2000s, and he performed with Conan O'Brien more than forty times on Late Night, more than any other stand-up comedian.Between 1993 and 1994, he anchored Comedy Central's Brief Attention Span Show, replacing Jon Stewart. He was also a regular guest with Colin Quinn on Tough Crowd and anchored the short-lived 2002 American version of the British game show Never Mind the Buzzcocks on VH1He was a staple on the left-wing Air America radio network from 2004 to 2009, presenting The Marc Maron Show and co-hosting Morning Sedition and Breakroom Live.
