Raised on December 5, 1968, Margaret Moran Cho is an American stand-up comedian, actress, fashion designer, poet, and singer-songwriter. Cho is well known for her stand-up routines, in which she criticizes social and political problems, especially with respect to race and sexuality. Since producing and appearing in the ABC sitcom All-American Girl (1994–95), she gained popularity and in the following years became an popular stand-up comedian. She has has modeling and music interests and had her own collection of clothes. Cho has also been a consistent advocate of LGBT rights and received recognition on behalf of youth, Asian Americans and the LGBT community for her charitable activities.
