Marion Ramsey (born 10 May 1947) is an American singer and actress. She has been a regular on the Cos show but is best known for her appearance in the Police Academy (film series) as the soft-spoken detective Laverne Hooks. She has also recently appeared in the movies Recipe for Disaster and Return to Babylon, and in SyFy TV movies, such as Lavalantula and 2 Lava 2 Lantula!.
