Mark Jerrold Henry (born June 12, 1971) is an American powerlifter, Olympic weightlifter, strongman, and former professional wrestler who is reportedly signed to WWE under a deal with Legends. He also serves as a director on backstage. He is a two-time Olympian (1992 and 1996) and medalist in gold, silver, and bronze at the 1995 Pan American Games.He was a WDFPF World Champion (1995) as a powerlifter, and a two-time U.S. National Champion (1995[10] and 1997) as well as an all-time raw world record holder in squat and deadlift. He also owns the WDFPF World records in squat, deadlift and overall and the USAPL American record in deadlift since 1995. He is credited with the highest raw squat and powerlifting total ever achieved by a drug-tested competitor, regardless the weight level, as well as the highest raw deadlift by an American citizen.
