Marnix van den Broeke was born on February 24, 1976, in Axel, Netherlands. After 4 years of education in Musical Theater at the Fontys Dance Academy Tilburg in The Netherlands, and an Internship with The Dutch National Ballet, he graduated in 1999. His career suddenly changed direction after he got cast for the role of "Werewolf" in the blockbuster movie "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". His highly skilled movement performance brought him to more interesting acting roles such as the creepy character "The Silence" in Doctor Who and "DEATH" in Terry Pratchett's "Hogfather" and "The Colour of Magic".
