How tall is Martin Compston?
Martin Compston had been born in Greenock, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire. He spent his teen years with his brother Barry watching Celtic soccer (football) squad and wishing one day that he was going to play for them. He attended St. Columba's High School in Gourock, Inverclyde, where he passed his Regular Grade Exams and in his higher grades received three As and two Bs. During his fifth year he left school to follow his dream as a soccer player, and was eventually signed by Morton Football Club. In 2000, during an audition at his old high school, director Ken Loach discovered him and offered him the lead role in Sweet Sixteen (2002). The film has been shot in the home region of Martin including Greenock, Gourock, Inverkip, Kilmalcolm and Wemyss Bay.
