Mary Nightingale (born May 26, 1963) is a British newsreader and television presenter, best known for her ITV roles, as an ITN newsreader on ITV News, and as a presenter of the UK's Best Dish 2011 daytime cooking show.Nightingale was trained at St Margaret's School, an independent girls ' school, near the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter, Devon, and King Edward VI School in Totnes, Devon. She was awarded a BA in English from Bedford College, London University, now merged with Royal Holloway, London University.
