Matthew Charles Berry (born 2 May 1974) is an actor, comedian, singer, and musician from England. He has starred in television shows including The IT Crowd, The Darkplace of Garth Marenghi, The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box, The Wrong Door and House of Fools. More recently he played the leading role of Steven Toast in London's Channel 4 comedy Toast, for which he received the BAFTA Best Male Actor Award 2015. Since featuring in the video game magazine showing Game Over on the .tv computer and entertainment channel of BSkyB between 1998 and 1999, Berry started his career as a driver.
