Matt McCoy (born May 20, 1958) is an American actor known for The Hand that Shakes the Cradle, Police Academy 5: Miami Beach Role, Police Academy 6: City Under Siege as Sgt. Nick Lassard and Seinfeld's Lloyd Braun.He grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and attended Walter Johnson High School, graduating in 1976.McCoy briefly attended the University of Maryland, College Park. He worked briefly at the Harlequin Dinner Theater in Rockville. McCoy started acting when he performed in two plays at the student-directed one act festival: Brian Friel's Winners, and Robert Anderson's Footsteps of Doves.
