Actress Melissa Peterman is from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. She was cast as "Madeline Monroe" in the production of "Tony & Tina's Wedding" by Hey City Theatre, after graduating from Minnesota State University with theater as one of her majors. After more than 600 shows she went on to work at the improvisational comedy venue, "The Brave New Studio," as a writer and artist.She has appeared at "Chicago Improv Festival" and "Big Stink Comedy Festival" in Austin, Texas, while working with "The Brave New Workshop" She made her film debut in the Coen brothers ' Oscar-winning film Fargo (1996), with character role, "Hooker #2."
