Raised in Long Beach, California, Michael Fishman is the middle of three brothers, older sister Robyn Fishman and brother Matthew Fishman. His father, Nelson, was a jeweler and his mother, Darlene, was a professor of nursing and community college. His acting career started from 1988-1997 on legendary sitcom Roseanne (1988). Fishman became known for his timing, and impersonations made him a staple of multiple credit tags which later led to appearances with Jay Leno (1992) on The Tonight Show.
