Michael C. Lerner (born 22 June 1941) is an actor of American origin in film, television, and theater. For his appearance in Barton Fink (1991), he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. In Eight People Out (1988), Phil Gillman in Amos & Andrew (1993), Mayor Ebert in Roland Emmerich's Godzilla (1998), Mr Greenway in Elf (2003), and Senator Bri, Lerner has also played.He starred with Madonna in 2002, in London's West End version of Up for Grabs. Michael has appeared as a part of the cast of David Quantick's Radio Four series One on BBC Radio Four in 2008. In the Marvel Comics / Twentieth Century Fox feature, X-Men: Days of Future Past he played Senator Brickman.
