Michael Palin is an English comedian, producer, television presenter and journalist. He was a member of Monty Python comedy group. After the television series of Monty Python concluded in 1974, the Palin / Jones team was working on Ripping Yarns, an irregular series of television comedies transmitted over three years from 1976.In 1980, Palin co-wrote with Terry Gilliam on Time Bandits. He acted in the movie, too. He reunited with Terry Gilliam in 1984 to appear in Brazil. He starred in A Fish Called Wanda (1988), a comedy film for which he received the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
