How tall is Michael Parkinson?

Michael Parkinson got his education from Barnsley Grammar School. He left at the age of 16 and when Yorkshire County Cricket Club discarded him, his desire to become a professional cricketer was shattered. He switched to journalism, and reported on several local Yorkshire newspapers before joining the Manchester Guardian. Michael covered all sorts of things, from chip pan explosions to political conferences in Oldham.His first television role at Granada Television was as a current affairs editor. He joined the BBC as a "24 Hours" reporter In 1969 he became the host of the Cinema series in Granada. In 1971 he hosted the daily afternoon show on Thames Television, Teabreak.
