The American actor, comedian Moses Harry Horwitz (19 June 1897-4 May 1975), professionally named the Moe Howard, was best known as Three Stooges ' Captain, who appeared on movies and television for four decades. Originally the group began to perform through the circus of Vaudeville, Ted Healy and His Stooges. Once Moe was a child, his distinctive hairstyle appeared, cutting off his curls with a pair of scissors, forming the ragged shape of a pipe.
