How tall was Montgomery Clift?

Edward Montgomery Clift (nicknamed 'Monty' his entire life) was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 17, 1920, just after his twin sister Roberta (1920-2014) and eighteen months after Brooks Clift. He was the son of Anderson, Ethel "Sunny" (Fogg; 1888-1988) and Clift, William Brooks (1886-1964). His father made a lot of money in banking but during the downturn he was very poor. His mother was born out of wedlock and spent most of her childhood discovering her noble southern heritage and raising her children as aristocrats and the family wealth.
