Natasha Margaret Kaplinsky OBE (born 9 September 1972) is an English newsreader, television host and journalist best known for her work as a studio reporter on Sky News, BBC News, Channel 5 and ITV News.Kaplinsky joined BBC News in 2002 after two years at Sky News where she co-hosted Breakfast until 2005, when she became the host of the Six O'Clock Show. Kaplinsky was hired in October 2007 to help relaunch Five (now branded as Channel 5), allegedly for the biggest amount ever charged to a UK newsreader, where she introduced a fresh theme, retitled Five News for three years with Natasha Kaplinsky.
