Nick Rhodes (born Nicholas James Bates; 8 June 1962) is an English musician, singer and producer, best known as the founding member and keyboardist of the new wave band Duran Duran.[2 ] After being introduced on stage by bandmate Simon Le Bon during the 2004-2005 Astronaut world tours, he is also informally monikered as "The Controller."He's the youngest of the original lineup members.
