Nick Rhodes (born Nicholas James Bates; 8 June 1962) is an English musician, singer and producer, best known as the founding member and keyboardist of the new wave band Duran Duran.[2 ] After being introduced on stage by bandmate Simon Le Bon during the 2004-2005 Astronaut world tours, he is also informally monikered as "The Controller."He's the youngest of the original lineup members. Rhodes was involved in several side projects outside but linked to Duran Duran: in 1985 he released albums with Arcadia (with 3 Duran members: Rhodes, Simon Le Bon and Roger Taylor),[3] and in 2002 recorded and performed as The Devils with Stephen Duffy,
