Noel Thomas David Gallagher (born 29 May 1967) is an English singer, guitarist and songwriter. He acted as the Oasis punk band's lead guitarist, co-head vocalist, and main lyricist. He was leading vocalist and lyricist for his own band, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, after Oasis split in 2009.Born in Longsight and born in Burnage, Manchester, Gallagher started to play guitar when she was thirteen years old. After a number of odd jobs in building, in 1988 he worked as a roadie and engineer for the popular Manchester band Inspiral Carpets. While touring with them, he discovered that his younger brother, Liam Gallagher, had formed his own band, known as the Storm.
