Nora-Jane Noone is an Irish actress (born 8 March 1984). Her debut role in The Magdalene Sisters (2002) gained prominence. Her most important positions have been in The Descent (2005) and Brooklyn (2015).Noone grew up in Upper Newcastle, Galway City.She studied at the Galway Performing Arts School for two years, and she is a professional musician (grade 7 piano) and dancer. Her previous role before The Magdalene Sisters was like Jan in Grease's secondary school production.She graduated with a Degree in Science from NUI Galway in 2004 and then moved to London.
