On September 7, 1996, Tupac Shakur was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he succumbed to his injuries six days later on September 13, 1996. Orlando Anderson was one of the individuals whom law enforcement considered a suspect in the shooting, as there was a prior altercation between Tupac Shakur and Anderson's group on the night of the shooting.
