How tall was Oskar Schindler?
Oskar Schindler (28 April 1908 – 9 October 1974) was a German industrialist and a member of the Nazi Party, certified to save the lives of 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust by working them in his factories of enamel and arms in occupied Poland and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. He is the subject of Schindler's Ark (1982) book and its 1993 film version, Schindler's List, which represented his experience as a profit-driven opportunist who came to exhibit exceptional determination, tenacity, bravery and commitment to save the lives of his Jewish workers.
