Paige Turco was born on 17 May 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts. Her mother moved to Springfeld, Massachusetts, when she was a year-old her father died. She was training as a ballerina as a teenager. As soloist, she appeared with the New England Dance Conservatory, the Amherst Ballet and the Western Massachusetts Ballet Company.Her dreams were broken when her career as a 14-year-old dancer ended with an ankle injury. She had to re-examine her career choices and instead concentrated on drama and musical comedy. Paige graduated with a degree in drama from the University of Connecticut.
