Patti Clare (born 3 March 1976) is an English actress, best known since 2008 for portraying Mary Taylor in the Coronation Street ITV soap opera. She is a three-time winner of the 2011, 2013, and 2016 British Soap Award for Best Comedy Score. Raised in Manchester, Clare is. Her stage acting roles include: Edith in a 2000 production of Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit at the Citizen's Theater in Glasgow and Mrs. Micawber's role in a 2005 stage production at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, David Copperfield.
