How tall is Peri Gilpin?
Peri Gilpin was born in Waco, Texas and grew up in Dallas where her father encouraged her ability to perform. Since studying at the Dallas Theatre Center, she went on to perform at Austin's University of Texas and later at the British American Academy in London. She starred in guest roles on such famous situation comedies as Modeling Women (1986), Cheers (1982), and Wings (1990), where she worked with late producer Roz Doyle, her character's namesake on Frasier (1993). Her boss, Jim O'Brien, was a well-known and admired weatherman / personality in the 1970s and early 1980s in Philadelphia for the radio and TV News. He died on 25 September 1983 in a skydiving crash. Godmother of Frasier (1993) the father of co-star Jane Leeves, Isabella Kathryn Coben.
