How tall is Peter Finch?

While one of his generation's finest performers, Peter Finch should be known as much for his reputation as a hard-drinking, hell-raising womanizer as for his on-screen appearances. He was born in London in 1916 and at the age of ten moved to live in Sydney, Australia. Before taking up the acting, he worked in a series of dead end jobs, his film debut being in the mediocre comedy The Farmer Goes to Town (1938). He made his stage debut in 1939, as the stooge of a comedian. He was discovered by Laurence Olivier who convinced him to return and Britain and play classic roles on stage.
