How tall was Peter Graves?
Peter Graves was born on 18 March 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Peter Duesler Aurness. He was a radio host at WMIN in Minneapolis while growing up in Wisconsin, excelling in sports and music (as a saxophonist), and at age 16. He studied theater at the University of Minnesota after two years in the U.S. Army Air Force, and then went to Hollywood, where he first performed on tv and then made his film debut in Rogue River (1951). Numerous movie appearances followed, especially in Westerns. Graves is however recognized primarily for his television work, especially as Jim Phelps in Mission: Impossible (1966). On 14 March 2010, just four days before his 84th birthday, Peter Graves died of a heart attack.
