He was credited with helping to redefine R&B and hip hop, gaining nicknames like "the King of R&B," "the King of Pop-Soul," and "R&B's Pied Piper."His musical career ended in 2019.Kelly has sold more than 75 million albums globally, making him one of the most influential R&B male artists of the 1990s and one of the best-selling recording artists in the world. From 1985-2010 Billboard declared Kelly the Top R&B / Hip Hop Artist and the most popular R&B artist in history.
