How tall is Rachel Ticotin?
A hard cookie that can definitely keep up with children in movies and TV, the beautiful dark-haired Rachel Ticotin has played all sorts of policemen, bodyguards, and military corporals on the plaque several times. Born and raised in the Bronx, at a young age she studied fine art at the age of 8. At the age of ten, she appeared first stage as a Siamese princess in a NYC City Center plays entitled "The King and I." When she was 12, her work was done with prominent choreographers such as Alvin Ailey, Geoffrey Holder, and Anna Sokolow, and in the New York Ballet Hispanico.She made her film debut at age 20 in a bit role as a gypsy dancer in the King of the Gypsies (1978) starring Eric Roberts. She gained valuable experience in off-Broadway shows and on the other side of the camera as a production assistant for such films as The Wanderers (1979), Dressed to Kill (1980) and Raging Bull (1980).
