He grew up, then graduated from New Trier H.S. in Seattle, Washington. Illinois, Winnetka.Rainn studied theatre at NYU's graduated acting program after attending both Tufts University and the University of Washington and spent years performing on and off road tours with the Intering Company and regional theater including the Guthrie and Arena Stage.
